People deserve somewhere to turn before they feel they have nowhere to go.
Founded by Warren Sebastian with Stallone Odhiambo, Prestone Ongoro, Sarah Augusta and Emily Benna, Hope for Healing began with people coming together around a simple belief: mental health should be easier to talk about.
Awareness came first.
We started through peer counselling, education, and honest conversations about mental wellbeing. We visited learning institutions and created spaces where people could ask questions without fear or stigma.
Our inaugural mental health awareness concert brought hundreds of individuals together to learn, speak, and connect—supported by trusted partners including Stawi Global, Wazesha, My Wazo and Qualcare, alongside accredited mental health advisers and counsellors.
Human first. Practical always.
We listen first, educate clearly, create safe spaces and connect people to appropriate professional support when more specialised care is needed.
Our Guiding Commitments
Human First
We listen without judgment, eliminate shame, and ensure that every individual feels truly seen and respected.
Practical Always
No confusing jargon. We provide straightforward, usable grounding exercises, daily reflections, and supportive language.
Community Rooted
Healing happens in connection. We bring conversations directly to schools, universities, workplaces, and community spaces.
Safe Pathways
When clinical care is necessary, we guide individuals safely to verified, professional psychiatric and therapeutic resources.
Dedicated to Building a Safer World
The team uniting their passion, lived experiences, and community dedication behind Hope for Healing.
